Check out these banners in our sanctuary.

Our new banners came in and were placed in the sanctuary yesterday. Isn't it a change? The work that the mission teams and church members did makes Piney Grove UMC look brighter than ever.

Isaiah 26:12
"LORD, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us."

...And we thank Him for it.

Do you have an extra...

Times are exciting at Piney Grove UMC!

We are in the process of adding a new Sunday School class for children who are in early elementary school and preschool. Our Wednesday night program is made up of teenagers (boys and girls) and children who are sixth grade and younger.

Can you help us with...

Prayer
Sunday School material for all ages listed above
Craft supplies for 14-15 grade school children and preschoolers
Posters to hang on the walls in the children's room
A table and chairs for little people
Sing-a-long CDs
Tall bookcases, shelves, storage cabinets
A large colorful area rug
Small plastic toys for preschoolers (no stuffed animals please)
Two step-up stools for the bathrooms
Storage totes (4) that will slide underneath the length of a pew
A candlelighter that an acolyte can use

If your church is upgrading its program or if you have extra items on hand, let us know. Except for craft supplies, nothing on the list needs to be new. We are open to gently used working items.

Our little church is grateful for what God is doing. We give back by collecting food for a local pantry, hosting a free movie and pizza night on Wednesday and through other outreach efforts.

If you are looking for a church home, why not give us a try? We would love to welcome you for a visit or a lifetime.
